BREAKING: Boko Haram/ISWAP Terrorists Burn Schools in Borno Community
Maiduguri, Borno State – Suspected Boko Haram/ISWAP insurgents have reportedly set ablaze primary and secondary school buildings in Kautikari village, Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State, in a fresh attack that has heightened security concerns in the region.
According to security sources, the attackers stormed the community at about 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and targeted educational facilities, destroying school infrastructure in the process.
The latest incident comes amid growing anxiety over the safety of schools in parts of Borno State, particularly following the reported abduction of pupils from Mussa Primary and Junior Secondary School in Askira-Uba, who have remained missing for nearly a month.
Residents said Kautikari, a community that has experienced repeated insurgent attacks over the years, was once again thrown into panic as the gunmen invaded the area and carried out the arson attack.
