Kano Amirul Hajj visits recuperating sick pilgrim

 

Kano State Amirul Hajj, Dr Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, and his team have paid a visit to a pilgrim who underwent successful liver operation at King Fahad Hospital in Makkah.

 

The patient was initially diagnosed by the Kano state medical team and referred to Saudi tertiary hospital for advanced treatment.

 

This was contained in a press statement issued by Mustapha Muhammad, the Head of the Media Team Hajj Operations 2026.

 

The Amirul Hajj, Emir of Gaya, Dr Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, together with his Deputy, Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad Maharaz, including the permanent secretary of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Yusuf Aliyu Mukhtar and other aides were at the King Fahad Hospital to see how the patient is responding to treatment.

 

Meanwhile, after ascertaining the level of recuperation of the patient, Saudi airline tickets were purchased to airlift him back to Nigeria soon, including another female sick pilgrim.

 

It could be recall that the Kano state government has pledged to provide comprehensive healthcare to its pilgrims in Saudi  Arabia.
