Garo Hosts JIBWIS Leadership, Reaffirms Commitment to Kano’s Development

The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, has received the leadership of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Kano State Chapter, led by Professor Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening collaboration on issues of public interest and state development.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss matters relating to the growth, peace, and progress of Kano State, with particular emphasis on fostering partnerships that will advance the state’s socio-economic and religious aspirations.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Professor Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan commended the Kano State Government for its continued engagement with religious organizations and stakeholders. He particularly expressed appreciation to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the Hajj slots allocated to JIBWIS, describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to promoting religious harmony and supporting the welfare of the people.
According to him, the allocation reflects the government’s recognition of the important role religious organizations play in promoting moral values, social cohesion, and community development across the state.
The visit further underscored the cordial relationship between the Kano State Government and faith-based organizations, as both sides reiterated the need for sustained cooperation in addressing societal challenges and advancing initiatives that will improve the lives of citizens.
