APC Extends Nomination Form Sales Deadline for 2027 Elections
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress has approved an extension of the timelines for the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2027 general elections.
Under the previous schedule, the sale of forms was to run from Saturday, April 25 to Saturday, May 2, 2026, while the deadline for submission of completed forms and supporting documents was fixed for Monday, May 4, 2026.
However, following a meeting of the party leadership in Abuja on Thursday, the APC announced a fresh timetable.
Addressing journalists after the meeting, the party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, said the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026.
He further disclosed that the submission of completed nomination forms and accompanying documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
The extension is expected to give intending aspirants additional time to complete documentation and conclude consultations ahead of the party’s internal nomination process for the 2027 elections.
