Governor Yusuf Summons Kano’s Political and Administrative Leadership to Crucial Government Meeting
All Elected, Appointed Office Holders Directed to Attend at Government House

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has convened a crucial meeting involving all elected and appointed government officials in the state as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance, enhance policy coordination, and advance the administration’s development agenda.
The high-level meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano, commencing at 1:00 p.m.
According to an official announcement issued by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on behalf of the Governor, the gathering will bring together key stakeholders across various sectors of government to deliberate on matters of public importance and the effective implementation of government policies and programmes.
Those expected to attend include all members of the Kano State Executive Council, Advisers, Directors-General of Agencies and Governmental Departments (DAGs), Managing Directors, Executive Chairmen, Executive Secretaries, Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Special Assistants (SAs), Senior Special Reporters (SSRs), Special Reporters (SRs), Personal Assistants (PAs), as well as Chairmen and members of government boards and commissions.
Also invited are all Chairmen of the 44 Local Government Areas in the state and all members of the Kano State House of Assembly elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Governor emphasized the importance of the meeting and urged all concerned officials to attend punctually, noting that discussions are expected to focus on critical government priorities and strategies aimed at accelerating development across the state.
To ensure proper security and identification procedures, all participants have been directed to come along with their official identification cards, which will serve as a mandatory requirement for entry into the venue.
The meeting is expected to provide an opportunity for government officials to review ongoing programmes, assess performance, and align efforts towards achieving the administration’s vision for sustainable growth and improved service delivery to the people of Kano State.
