Kano Amirul Hajj Charges Operational Committees on Commitment, Teamwork for Successful Hajj

The Amirul Hajj of Kano State and Emir of Gaya, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has charged officials and members of various operational committees involved in the 2026 Hajj exercise to demonstrate greater commitment, dedication and teamwork in order to ensure a successful pilgrimage for Kano State pilgrims.
Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir gave the charge during a strategic meeting with committee heads and officials held at House Number One in Makkah on Sunday.
Addressing the gathering, the Amirul Hajj stressed the need for all personnel engaged in the Hajj operations to redouble their efforts and discharge their responsibilities with a high sense of duty, noting that the success of the exercise depends largely on effective collaboration among the various committees.
He emphasized that unity, cooperation and collective responsibility remain indispensable in coordinating pilgrims’ activities and providing the required services throughout the Hajj period.
The Amirul Hajj urged officials to remain focused and committed to the objectives of the exercise, assuring them of the leadership’s support in ensuring that Kano pilgrims receive the best possible services during their stay in the Holy Land.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Amirul Hajj and Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, said the leadership of the Kano State Hajj delegation was determined to ensure the complete success of the exercise.
He described the ongoing preparations for Mina and Arafat as the most critical phase of the Hajj operations, noting that the arrangements would determine the overall success of the exercise.
The Deputy Amirul Hajj therefore called on all committees to strengthen cooperation and support one another in carrying out their assignments efficiently and effectively.
Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye further directed committee chairmen and members to prepare comprehensive reports on their activities after the Arafat exercise for inclusion in the final operational report of the 2026 Hajj exercise.
Responding on behalf of the committees, leaders of the various operational groups assured the Amirul Hajj leadership of their readiness and unwavering commitment to work diligently toward achieving a hitch-free and successful Hajj operation.
The meeting ended with renewed pledges by all stakeholders to work in harmony and ensure the successful conduct of the 2026 Hajj exercise for pilgrims from Kano State.
