𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍: 𝐏𝐃𝐏 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐮’𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed the allegation of signature forgery leveled by the party’s National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu.

Addressing journalists in Abuja on Monday, the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, described the claim as false, insisting that Senator Anyanwu personally signed the letters sent to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) notifying the commission of the date, time, and venue for the party’s elective convention scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Ologunagba further presented documents and correspondences between Anyanwu and other members of the party’s leadership, including his active involvement with the contact and mobilisation committee, where he served as secretary.

He emphasized that the PDP leadership remains focused on preparations for the convention and urged members to disregard distractions.

Senator Anyanwu had earlier petitioned the Department of State Services (DSS) and the Inspector-General of Police, alleging that his signature was forged on official party documents.
