TRIBUTE TO A BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER
In Loving Memory of Alhaji Ismail Abdullahi Yanoko — 4 Years Gone, Forever in Our Hearts

Today marks four years since the passing of my dear brother from another mother, Alhaji Ismail Abdullahi Yanoko, a man whose memory continues to live within our hearts and prayers.

To me, Yaya Ismail was more than a friend — he was a true brother, a gentleman per excellence, whose kindness, humility, and wisdom left a lasting mark on everyone who crossed his path. His good counsel and compassionate heart guided many of us through life’s challenges, and his words of encouragement still echo in our minds.

Yaya Ismail lived a life defined by generosity, patience, and sincerity. He touched lives quietly but powerfully, earning the love and respect of those around him. His legacy of goodness, honesty, and empathy continues to inspire us every day.

As we remember him today, we pray that Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, grants him Jannatul Firdaus, and continues to bless and protect the beautiful family he left behind.

May his family remain an example to society, reflecting the same virtues he embodied — love, faith, and integrity.

We miss you deeply, Yaya Ismail Yanoko. Your character remains a light for all of us to emulate.
Amin.
