Kwankwaso Mourns Renowned Political Singer Kosan Waka
Former Kano State Governor and national leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of renowned political singer, Muhammadu Buhari, popularly known as Kosan Waka.
In a condolence message issued on Sunday, Kwankwaso described the late singer as a committed supporter whose immense contributions to advancing the ideals of the Kwankwasiyya Movement through his music would never be forgotten.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of the renowned political singer, Muhammadu Buhari (Kosan Waka), today,” Kwankwaso said.
He noted that Kosan Waka’s unwavering commitment, talent and dedication inspired many and left an enduring legacy in political communication and Hausa entertainment.
Kwankwaso prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and comfort his family, friends and loved ones during this difficult period.
He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late singer and all those mourning his passing.
Muhammadu Buhari, widely known as Kosan Waka, died on Sunday at the age of 47. He was one of Northern Nigeria’s most celebrated political singers, admired for using his music to promote political awareness, unity and social values.
