Kano Deputy Governor Visits Garo, Kabo, Others to Condole Bereaved Families
The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Sunday embarked on a series of condolence visits to families in Kabo and Nasarawa Local Government Areas who recently lost their loved ones.
The Deputy Governor, who visited his hometown of Garo in Kabo Local Government Area, expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved families, praying Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort those they left behind.
During the visit, Alhaji Garo condoled with the family of Alhaji Auwalu Usaini Garo, former Chairman of the Community Reorientation Council (CRC) in Kabo Local Government Area, over the tragic death of his 12-year-old son, Aliyu (Haidar), who lost his life in a road accident last Sunday.
The Deputy Governor also paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Malam Rabo Shafiu Kofar Fada, father of his classmate, Isyaku Rabiu. Malam Rabo passed away last Saturday at the age of 80 after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his wife, eight children, and numerous grandchildren.
In Kabo town, Alhaji Garo visited the family of the late Alhaji Garba Zangon Kabo, who died last Wednesday at the age of 87. The deceased is survived by ten children and many grandchildren, including Hon. Ibrahim Zango, Special Assistant to the Chairman of Kabo Local Government Council, and Dr. Mansur Zango, a medical doctor.
The Deputy Governor’s condolence tour also took him to Dakata Kawaji Quarters in Nasarawa Local Government Area, where he sympathized with the family of late Hajiya Sa’adatu Muhammad, who passed away on Saturday night at the age of 65.
Hajiya Sa’adatu is survived by ten children, among them Alhaji Usman, an official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a close associate of the Deputy Governor.
Speaking during the visits, Alhaji Garo described death as an inevitable reality that every soul must face and urged the families to remain steadfast in faith and prayers.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant them Jannatul Firdaus, and bestow patience, strength, and fortitude upon their families to bear the painful losses.
The families expressed appreciation to the Deputy Governor for personally identifying with them during their moments of grief, describing the gesture as a source of comfort and encouragement.
