The House of Representatives aspirant for Dawakin Tofa, Rimin-Gado, and Tofa Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Sani Abdulkadir Dambo, has embarked on a series of courtesy visits to the three local government areas, reaffirming his commitment to grassroots empowerment and sustainable community development.

As part of the visit, Hon. Dambo distributed ₦3,450,000 (Three Million, Four Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) as financial support to 300 women across the 38 wards within the constituency. The initiative aims to empower women, promote entrepreneurship, and boost economic self-reliance among households.

Speaking during the empowerment exercise, Hon. Dambo said his decision to begin with women was not based on favoritism but on recognition of their vital role in family and community development.

“Women are the pillars of families and the foundation of every society. When you empower a woman, you empower an entire community,” he said.

He described women as naturally resourceful and resilient, capable of maximizing limited resources to sustain their families. “That is why this initiative starts with women—to lay a strong foundation for long-term, sustainable development,” he added.

Several beneficiaries who received the financial support expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Dambo for what they described as a lifeline gesture that came at the right time.

One of the recipients, Hajiya Asiya Musa from Rimin-Gado, said the support would enable her to expand her local groundnut oil business.

“We are very grateful to Hon. Dambo. This money will help me buy more materials and increase my income. May Allah reward him and grant him success,” she said.

Another beneficiary, Maryam Sani from Tofa, commended the initiative, describing it as a true empowerment, not just politics.

“We have seen many promises before, but this one is real. Hon. Dambo has shown he cares about women and families,” she said.

Similarly, Hajiya Sa’adatu Yahaya from Dawakin Tofa thanked the aspirant for remembering rural women.

“Most of us are widows and small traders. This support will make a big difference in our lives,” she added.

Hon. Dambo emphasized that the empowerment program is only the first phase of a broader developmental agenda aimed at supporting other population groups across the constituency.

He reaffirmed his commitment to socio-economic advancement, pledging continued engagement and interaction with the people to ensure responsive and effective leadership.

“Our progress depends on dedication, continuity, and sincere service. I will keep listening to your needs and implementing meaningful programs that truly transform lives,” Dambo assured.

Calling for unity and collective purpose, Hon. Dambo appealed to residents of Dawakin Tofa, Rimin-Gado, and Tofa to support his vision for a stronger, more prosperous constituency.

“Let’s work together for the progress of our people. I am offering effective representation and transformational leadership that prioritizes your welfare and development,” he declared.

The courtesy visit began in Rimin-Gado, continued through Tofa, and concluded in Dawakin Tofa, Hon. Dambo’s hometown.

He was accompanied by APC leaders, local hunters’ associations, tea vendors’ unions, Islamic scholars, and other key political figures from the three local government areas.

In his closing remarks, Dambo reiterated his unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people, assuring that his mission is to create lasting, inclusive, and impactful development across Dawakin Tofa, Rimin-Gado, and Tofa.
