Former APC Leaders Honour Ado Doguwa with Award of Excellence, Reaffirm Support for Party

The Leader of the Northern Caucus in the House of Representatives and Member representing Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, OON, on Tuesday received a delegation of former leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State at his residence in Kano.
The delegation, led by former APC State Vice Chairman, Hon. Shehu Maigari, paid the visit as part of efforts to strengthen ties among party stakeholders and promote unity within the ruling party.
A major highlight of the visit was the presentation of an Award of Excellence to Rt. Hon. Ado Doguwa by the former APC leaders in recognition of his outstanding contributions to democratic governance, legislative leadership, grassroots development, and his unwavering commitment to the growth and success of the APC.
Presenting the award, the delegation commended Doguwa’s decades of service to the party and the nation, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose leadership, political experience, and dedication have continued to inspire party members across Kano State and beyond.
The former party leaders noted that Doguwa’s consistent support for party-building initiatives, his role in strengthening democratic institutions, and his commitment to the welfare of his constituents made him deserving of the recognition.
In his remarks, Rt. Hon. Doguwa expressed gratitude to the delegation for the honour bestowed upon him, describing the award as a source of encouragement and a call to greater service.
