Danmaliki Delivers on Education Mandate as Dawakin Tofa Council Completes Gangarandutse School Renovation with Governor Abba Yusuf’s Backing

The Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government, Anas Mukhtar Bello Danmaliki, has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to grassroots development with the successful renovation and rehabilitation of Gangarandutse Primary School, a project executed following the approval and full support of His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The project, described by community stakeholders as a major victory for public education, underscores the strong political alignment between the Dawakin Tofa Local Government and the state government’s agenda to restore the dignity of public schools and uplift neglected communities.
Chairman Danmaliki said the completion of the project is a practical demonstration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to educational transformation, noting that the administration continues to prioritise infrastructure that directly improves the lives of ordinary citizens.
He emphasized that the intervention at Gangarandutse Primary School is only one of several people-oriented initiatives currently underway, adding that Dawakin Tofa remains firmly aligned with the governor’s vision of rebuilding Kano through transparent governance and targeted development programs.
“This renovation reflects our collective resolve to ensure that no child in Dawakin Tofa studies in dilapidated structures again,” Danmaliki stated. “We appreciate the governor’s unwavering support, which empowers us to deliver meaningful projects that impact our communities.”
Community leaders and parents have applauded both the local government chairman and the state government, describing the school’s transformation as a welcome shift from neglect to purposeful leadership.
With this milestone, Dawakin Tofa Local Government strengthens its political and developmental synergy with the Abba Kabir Yusuf administration—signaling a continued commitment to progress, educational excellence, and grassroots empowerment.
