Riruwai Residents Commend NSCDC Doguwa Division for Arresting Suspected Drug Dealer

Residents of Riruwai, the headquarters of Doguwa Local Government Area in Kano State, have expressed appreciation to the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Doguwa Division, for the prompt arrest of a suspected drug dealer in their community.

The residents, who spoke through their representatives, described the action of the NSCDC personnel as timely and commendable, noting that it reflects the renewed commitment of the corps to maintaining law and order at the grassroots level.

They particularly praised the Divisional Officer for his professionalism and quick response in transferring the suspect to the Kano State Command of the NSCDC for further investigation and prosecution.

According to them, the handling of the case by the Divisional Officer demonstrates transparency, discipline, and dedication to duty, which have helped in restoring public confidence in security operations within the area.

Speaking on behalf of the Riruwai community, Hassan Inuwa Muhammad commended the NSCDC for its proactive efforts and pledged the community’s continued support for all security agencies working to rid the society of crime and drug-related activities.

He further assured that the community would monitor the progress of the case to ensure that justice is served and that the suspect is prosecuted and punished in accordance with the laws of the country.

Residents called on the Kano State Command of the NSCDC to ensure diligent prosecution of the case in a competent court of law, emphasizing that such decisive actions would serve as a deterrent to other criminally minded individuals.
