The Sardaunan Kasar Hausa Maituta, Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa, OON, has condoled with Ibrahim Yaro Dawakin Tofa, a seasoned journalist, Public Relations Specialist, and Santurakin Sardaunan Kasar Hausa Maituta, who also serves as Manager of News at Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hafsat Yusuf Alajawa.

Hajiya Hafsat, aged seventy-three (73), passed away earlier today, Tuesday, after a protracted illness. She has since been laid to rest in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State in accordance with Islamic rites.

In his condolence message, Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa described the passing of Hajiya Hafsat as a profound personal and communal loss. He said she lived a life marked by piety, resilience, and generosity, raising children who are making remarkable contributions to education, journalism, and public service.

Among her surviving children are Professor Nura Yaro, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences at North West University, Kano, and Ibrahim Yaro Dawakin Tofa, a respected broadcaster and Public Relations professional.

Sympathizers from across Kano and beyond have continued to visit the family residence to offer condolences, while colleagues and associates of Ibrahim Yaro have expressed heartfelt sympathy and prayers.

The late Hajiya Hafsat Yusuf Alajawa is remembered for her devotion to Allah and her commitment to family and community service.
