Abba Ganduje Mourns Loss of Respected Elder, Mallam Yunusa Barguma
The Executive Director of Technical Services at the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Engr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, (Abba Ganduje) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Mallam Yunusa Barguma, describing his death as a significant loss to both family and community.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, Engr. Ganduje extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, particularly to his son, Nasiru Yunusa Barguma. He noted that the late Mallam Barguma was a man of honour who lived a life marked by dignity, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the wellbeing of those around him.
According to Ganduje, the deceased was widely regarded as a respected elder whose legacy of strong moral values and community service will continue to inspire future generations. He emphasized that Mallam Barguma’s contributions to his immediate environment and his role as a pillar within his family would not be forgotten.
Engr Ganduje prayed for the Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul eternal rest and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength and patience for the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
