Gombe PDP 2023 gov candidate defects to ADC
The 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Gombe State, Jibrin Barde, has defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general election.
Barde disclosed his move on Tuesday night at his residence, where he displayed his ADC membership card, saying he had come to revalidate his membership.
He said he left the PDP in early 2025, stressing that his priority is to rescue Gombe State from what he described as rule by business interests.
