The All Progressives Congress (APC) has suffered a significant blow as three of its high-profile members, John Oyegun, Abubakar Malami, and Rotimi Amaechi, defected to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Wednesday.

Banditry, kidnappings, and terrorism have become part of our lives while the government prioritises politics over the safety of its citizens,” he said.
Amaechi, a former Minister of Transportation and governor of Rivers State, accused the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of colluding to hijack the forthcoming elections. “Nigeria is completely destroyed and requires a complete change,” he said.
The ADC has welcomed the new members, who are expected to bring their experience and expertise to the party. The defections are likely to have far-reaching implications for Nigerian politics, particularly with the upcoming elections.
