Kano Pillars FC Kicks Off Pre-Season Training for 2025/2026 Season

 

Kano Pillars FC is set to commence pre-season training on Monday, June 30th, 2025, as the team prepares to take on the challenges of the upcoming 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League season. The season is scheduled to kick off in August, and the club is determined to make a strong comeback after concluding the 2024/2025 NPFL season in 9th position with 53 points from 38 matches.

 

The club has retained a total of 25 players from the previous season, including key players such as Muttaka Musa, Abdullahi Abubakar, and Rabiu Ali. The retained players are expected to form the backbone of the team as they bid to reclaim their pride in Nigerian football.

 

Four promising young players have been drafted into the senior squad, including Jibrin Yusuf, Aminu Muhammed, Mustapha Muhammed, and Muhammad Usman. These players are expected to bring fresh energy and talent to the team.

The club is set to unveil its new signings for the 2025/2026 season soon, including Suleiman Idris Ibrahim, who is returning from Europe. The new signings are expected to strengthen the team’s squad and provide more options for the coach.

The Chairman of the club, Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, has charged the players and technical crew to approach the new season with total commitment and discipline. The club’s objective is to fight for honors and reclaim its pride in Nigerian football.
