The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) under the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) is strengthening its efforts to enhance access to its initiatives, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Hamza Ibrahim Baba, the newly appointed National Programme Manager of GEEP, has embarked on a mission to forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.

Recently, Mr. Baba paid courtesy visits to the Honourable Minister of State for Education, Dr. Suwaibe Said, and the Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), H.E. Silas Agara. The primary objective of these visits was to explore potential collaborations in supporting grassroots women through the Traders Monies initiative of GEEP and fostering entrepreneurship across the nation.

Both Dr. Said and H.E. Agara commended Mr. Baba for his proactive approach and expressed their enthusiasm for the collaborative efforts aimed at uplifting Nigerians, particularly those within the GEEP target demographics. They emphasized that these initial visits reflect Mr. Baba’s commitment to instilling renewed hope among Nigerians.

Through these partnerships, GEEP aims to empower vulnerable groups, promote entrepreneurship, and contribute to the nation’s economic growth and development. As Mr. Baba continues to engage with key stakeholders, Nigerians can expect to see more impactful initiatives and programmes that align with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“GEEP is committed to empowering Nigerians, particularly grassroots women and vulnerable groups, through our initiatives. We are excited about the potential partnerships with the Ministry of Education and NDE, and we look forward to working together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Nigerians.” – Hamza Ibrahim Baba, National Programme Manager, GEEP.
