The Turbaning of Nasiru M. Ja’oji: A Grand Celebration in Daura

The ancient city of Daura is set to host a grand celebration on Sunday, 4th May, 2025  as Nasiru M. Ja’oji is scheduled to be turbanned as the “Adon Garin Kasar Hausa . This prestigious honor is a testament to Ja’oji’s outstanding contributions to the  community, and Northen Youth  to be precise and his commitment to promoting  Hausa  rich cultural heritage.

The turbaning ceremony, a time-honored tradition in Hausa land, will bring together dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers from far and wide. The event promises to be a spectacular display of Hausa culture, with traditional music, dance, and attire expected to feature prominently.

As Ja’oji prepares to take on this new role, he has expressed his gratitude to the Emir of Daura Dr Umar Faruk Umar  and the entire Hausa community for entrusting him with this esteemed honor. He has pledged to continue promoting the values and traditions of the Hausa people, and to work tirelessly for the betterment of the community.
