The Federal government has directed all Federal Tertiary institutions that have been granted waivers to recruit staff to make it public.
A statement from the Ministry explains that the directive by the Minister of Education, Dr. Olatunji Alausa is to ensure a transparent, open, and competitive recruitment process that offers equal opportunity to all eligible Nigerians.
According to the statement All federal tertiary institutions must also seek approval from the Ministry based on their recruitment need.
It warns that non-compliance with the directive will attract sanctions.
