Bola Ahmed Tinubu Sacks Kayode Egbetokun, Appoints Tunji Disu as New IGP
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has removed Kayode Egbetokun from his position as Inspector General of Police (IGP), bringing an abrupt end to a tenure that drew sustained public scrutiny.

Tunji Disu, currently serving as Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, has been appointed as the new Inspector General of Police.
