The Federal College of Education (FCE), Abeokuta, has conferred a prestigious Fellowship Award on the Executive Director of Technical Services at the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), Engr. Umar Abdullahi Ganduje, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to rural electrification and sustainable energy development in Nigeria.

The honour, presented at a ceremony in Abeokuta, celebrates Engr. Ganduje’s role in advancing energy access across underserved and off-grid communities, a key component of the Federal Government’s broader economic growth and social inclusion agenda.

According to the institution, the Fellowship is reserved for distinguished professionals whose work has significantly impacted national development. Engr. Ganduje’s leadership in driving technical innovation and infrastructure expansion in the power sector was cited as a major factor in the award.
