Former APC Councillor from Tattarawa Ward, Haruna Danzaura, Commends Ganduje, Appreciates Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for Paying His Benefits
Former All Progressives Congress (APC) Councillor representing Tattarawa Ward in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, Hon. Haruna Danzaura, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to former Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for granting him the opportunity to serve his people at the grassroots level.
In a statement made available to journalists, Danzaura described his tenure as councillor as a rare privilege that enriched his political experience and deepened his commitment to public service. He acknowledged that the opportunity given to him under the Ganduje administration enabled him to contribute meaningfully to community development and local governance in Tattarawa Ward and Dawakin Tofa at large.
The former councillor praised the former governor for his leadership approach and support for grassroots politicians, noting that such opportunities strengthened democratic governance and effective representation at the local government level.
Danzaura also expressed profound gratitude to the current Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for what he described as a kind gesture and display of humility in approving and paying his outstanding benefits.
According to him, the payment of his entitlements reflects Governor Yusuf’s commitment to fairness, justice, and continuity in governance, irrespective of political affiliations. He said the gesture has further boosted confidence in the present administration’s respect for due process and the welfare of public office holders.
“I sincerely thank His Excellency, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, for ensuring that my benefits were paid. This action demonstrates humility, maturity, and respect for those who have served the state in various capacities,” Danzaura stated.
