President Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a significant diplomatic journey to Japan and Brazil, with a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on Thursday. The President’s first destination will be Japan, where he will participate in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) in Yokohama from August 20 to 22. TICAD is a high-level international conference that brings together leaders from Africa, Japan, and other development partners to discuss issues related to African development.
The trip is expected to provide a platform for President Tinubu to engage with global leaders, policymakers, and business executives to discuss ways to promote economic growth, investment, and development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
