The Executive Chairman of Dawakin Tofa Local Government, Hon. Anas Mukhtar Bello, has disbursed ₦6 million to six outstanding youths from the local government. Each beneficiary received ₦1 million.
The six beneficiaries, recognized for their dedication and contributions to the community, are:
1. Auwalu Galadima Jemomi – Secretary, Scholarship committee
2. Abdullahi Mijinyawa – Chairman, Scholarship Committee
3. Shamsuddin Sani Salisu – Media Aide to the Chairman
4. Nura Haruna – Photographer and social media advocate
5. Umar Isa (Dawanau) – Executive member of the NNPP
6. Hon. Khadija Sani Aliyu – Former Councillor and Personal Assistant to DG Sunusi Bature
·The Chairman emphasized that this gesture is part of his commitment to empowering youths, recognizing their selfless service, and encouraging others to contribute to the progress of Dawakin Tofa Local Government. He stated, “This empowerment initiative is not just about giving financial support; it’s about investing in people who have invested in our community. I believe that by empowering those who are committed, we inspire others to serve with dedication.”
The Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council reaffirmed its resolve to sustain programs and interventions that improve the lives of the people, especially the youth, in line with the vision of inclusive growth, social support, and community advancement.
