CDHR Condemns Brutal Killing of Police DPO in Kano’s Rano LGA

The Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR) has strongly condemned the senseless killing of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Rano Local Government Area of Kano State. The organization described the attack as a direct affront to the rule of law, peace, and justice in society.

In a statement, Comrade Aliyu Isma’il, Chairman of CDHR’s Kano State Branch, expressed deep sadness over the incident and stood in solidarity with the family of the fallen officer, the Rano community, and the Nigerian Police Force.

“Attacking officers of the law undermines not only individual safety but the very fabric of civil society.” – Comrade Aliyu Isma’il, Chairman CDHR Kano State Branch Said.

The CDHR urged relevant authorities to conduct a thorough, transparent, and swift investigation to bring the perpetrators to justice without delay.

 The organization emphasized that such acts of lawlessness must not be allowed to fester in a democratic society.
