Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa Pays Heartfelt Condolence Visit to Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Command After Officer Buhari’s Death
The Member representing Doguwa/Tudun-Wada Federal Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) following the tragic death of a Civil Defence officer, Buhari, during a recent disturbance in Tudun Wada Local Government Area of Kano.
During the solemn visit to the Command Headquarters, Hon. Doguwa expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing the late officer as a courageous and dedicated security personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. He conveyed his sympathies to the Commandant, officers and men of the corps, as well as to the bereaved family, noting that the incident has left the entire constituency and Kano State in grief. 🕊️
The lawmaker emphasized that the fallen officer’s commitment to protecting lives and property would not be forgotten, urging security personnel to remain steadfast despite the painful loss. He called for unity, calm and continued cooperation between residents and security agencies to prevent future occurrences and sustain peace across communities.
Hon. Doguwa further assured the NSCDC leadership of his continued legislative support towards improving the welfare, safety and operational capacity of security operatives. He stressed that strengthening institutions responsible for maintaining law and order remains a collective responsibility that requires sustained attention and collaboration.
In his response, the State Commandant appreciated the condolence visit, describing it as a morale-boosting gesture that reflects solidarity and recognition of the sacrifices made by officers in the discharge of their duties. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to justice and to enhancing strategies aimed at safeguarding communities across Tudun Wada and beyond.
Prayers were also offered for the repose of the soul of the late officer and for enduring peace and stability in the constituency and the state at large.
