Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Reps Member Representing Doguwa/Tudun-Wada and Chairman Northern Regional Caucus, Leads APC E-Registration in Doguwa LGA

Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa, the member representing Doguwa/Tudun-Wada Federal Constituency and Chairman of the Northern Regional Caucus in the House of Representatives, has taken a significant step towards strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots level by completing his electronic registration in Ragada Ward of Doguwa Local Government Area.

The exercise also featured the Kano State Commissioner for Water Resources, Umar Haruna Doguwa, who recently joined the APC alongside Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. Umar Haruna Doguwa carried out his registration in the same ward and polling unit he shares with the federal lawmaker, a development party supporters described as a strong symbol of unity and political alignment within the APC.

The registration attracted party faithful, community leaders, and supporters who gathered to witness the process, which forms part of the APC’s nationwide membership digitalisation programme aimed at strengthening internal party structure and ensuring accurate membership documentation.

Speaking during the exercise, Honourable Alhassan Ado Doguwa reaffirmed his commitment to the progress, unity, and expansion of the APC. He emphasized the importance of grassroots participation, noting that the electronic registration initiative would enhance transparency, coordination, and inclusiveness within the party.

Umar Haruna Doguwa expressed satisfaction with the registration process, describing it as smooth and reflective of the party’s drive towards modernization. He urged party supporters and residents of Doguwa Local Government Area to actively participate in the exercise to solidify their membership and contribute to the growth of the party.

Party stakeholders present at the venue commended the two political figures for demonstrating leadership and commitment to strengthening the APC’s presence in Ragada Ward and the wider Doguwa Local Government Area. They noted that the active involvement of influential party leaders in the registration process is expected to boost membership mobilisation and reinforce the party’s political dominance in the area.

Political observers believe the recent wave of high-profile defections and active participation of key government officials in party activities may further reshape the political landscape in Kano State ahead of future electoral engagements.
