‘A Source of Pride for Kano, Nigeria’ — Alfindiki on Barau Jibrin’s PhD
Comrade Faizu Alfindiki, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warmly congratulated the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Dr. Barau I. Jibrin, CFR, PhD, FCNA, on the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme at Maryam Abacha American University, Maradi, Niger Republic.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Alfindiki described the academic feat as highly commendable and well-deserved, noting that Senator Barau has once again proven that effective leadership, intellectual excellence, and selfless service to society can coexist.
Comrade Alfindiki, who was physically present throughout the programme and personally witnessed the process that culminated in the award of the PhD, said the achievement is a clear reflection of Senator Barau’s discipline, intellectual depth, resilience, and uncommon commitment to excellence, despite the heavy demands of his national responsibilities.
“Senator Barau Jibrin has demonstrated that no height is unattainable for those who value knowledge and self-development. I was there, and I witnessed firsthand the seriousness, dedication, and determination that defined this academic journey.
This accomplishment goes beyond personal success; it is a source of immense pride for Kano State and Nigeria as a whole,” Alfindiki stated.
He prayed for Almighty Allah to grant the Deputy Senate President continued wisdom, sound health, strength, and greater success, while wishing him higher accomplishments in his political career and continued impactful service to the nation.
Alfindiki further noted that Senator Barau’s academic success should serve as a powerful inspiration to young Nigerians, particularly those in public service, to embrace education as a lifelong pursuit and a foundation for responsible leadership.
