Gov. Yusuf Mourns Late Durbin Kano, Muhammad Lawan Koguna

 

The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed deepest shock on the death of the late Durbin Kano, Muhammad Lawan Koguna, who passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness.

 

This was made known in a condolence made available by the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa in Kano on Saturday.

 

The Governor described the deceased as a symbol of resilience and determination, whose life was a testament to hard work and dedication. He noted that the deceased’s contributions to the development of Kano State would never be forgotten.

 

“Today, we mourn the loss of a great son of Kano, a renowned businessman, and a respected traditional titleholder, Late Durbin Kano, Muhammad Lawan Koguna. His demise is a profound loss to the state and the nation,” Governor Yusuf said.

 

” Durbin Kano has answered the call to his Creator at a time when his presence is much needed not by his family, the state but the entire nation as a pillar of strength whose death had created a void difficult to fill.” he mourned.

 

On behalf of Kano State Government, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Kano Emirate council, and entire people of the state over the huge loss.

 

He prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, and give the bereaved family the courage and the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and endure the trying moment.
