Thousands of jubilant supporters gathered at the Kano Airport to welcome Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State upon his return from the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage. The Governor’s homecoming was marked by a grand reception, with supporters and well-wishers lining up to catch a glimpse of the esteemed leader.
The crowd, comprising government officials, party faithful, traditional leaders, and ordinary citizens from all 44 local government areas of Kano State, cheered and chanted as Governor Yusuf emerged from the aircraft. It took Governor Yusuf’s hours to move from Malam Aminu International Airport to Government House due to the huge crowd of cheerful admirers and well-wishers.
In his brief remarks, Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude to the Almighty for granting him the opportunity to perform the sacred pilgrimage. He thanked his supporters for the warm welcome, promising to continue working tirelessly for the development and progress of Kano State.
